Other Products and Services

Moore's Sawmill Complete service

Custom Sawing: cutting your logs to order, or cutting ours to fill your orders. Bring your logs to us and we will saw them into beams, boards, flooring or anything else you may need.

Flooring: let us turn your logs into flooring: save some money and enjoy your own homegrown lumber! Utilize the nature resource that grew on your property. The most popular species are pine and oak. The lumber will be kiln dried and then tongue and grooved, either square edge or vee grooved. By dealing with the sawmill, you can pick out the widths and sizes you want and have it made to suit your taste.

Kiln Drying Service: have your lumber sawn and kiln dried or just kiln dried (if you bring it to us already sawn) for your building projects.

Milling: once your lumber is kiln dried, it can be surfaced for your building project use, or milled into flooring. Bring your own lumber in for custom milling.

We are located 10 miles NW of Hartford!

If a picture is worth a 1000 words, then a visit to our plant is worth an entire book! Come see us and add a few more pages of knowledge to what you already know about wood and woodworking.
