DESCRIPTION:   Moderately hard and strong. Density and appearance similar to cherry. Machines cleanly and finishes well; stability only fair. Heartwood reddish brown, sometimes beautifully figured with dark pigmented markings. Sapwood a rather non-descript off-white.
