Rare Mesquite Wood!

    At Unique Mesquite, we specialize in eye-burl figured mesquite, an extremely rare wood with quality and beauty second to none. Our eye-burl mesquite has been prized by top woodturners, furniture and gunstock makers, veneer mills and sculptors for almost a decade!
    Our mesquite is green when cut. We seal it with green wood sealer and spray it for insects immediately!

CHARACTERISTICS OF MESQUITE...

   * Beauty, character and working properties rival those of cherry, walnut and oak.
   * Denser than oak (76 lbs./cu.ft.) and twice as hard.
   * One of the most stable woods in the world.
   * Dries evenly, in different cellular directions (both radially and tangentially).
   * Less checking or cupping defects, if any, than other woods when dried.
