TAN OAK or California Oak is our sole species. It is sold in lumber form up to 8' feet long, up to 8" wide and up to 6/4 thickness. 8/4 will be available soon.
The physical properties of Tanoak are very similar to those of Northern red oak. It is a light, golden brown wood with occasional natural color.
TAN OAK FLOORING: lots of color, wide width plank flooring - Because Tan Oak is hard and resistant to abrasion, it is an excellent wood for flooring.
Tan Oak makes an excellent choice high-quality furniture.
