Jim Rogers Sawmill can provide boxed heart timbers to 22 feet in length for timber framing. Our custom milling service can mill your logs at your site for your project.
Lumber on hand (rough stock): White Pine, Red Oak, - all wood is air dried.
Logs on hand (ready to be milled to your custom size) White Pine, Red Oak, White Oak, Ash, Hemlock, Maple.
Lumber or logs "sometimes**" available: Cherry, White Oak, Hickory (currently sold out), Hemlock, Locust (currently sold out), Black Walnut, Spalted Maple, White cedar (currently sold out), Ash. (**sometimes available means not always, almost never, rarely, so don't consider it on hand, dry, and surfaced ready for your furniture project).
We also mill wide pine flooring and oak flooring to your specs.
Buying from a sawmill directly means you can get the thickness, width and length of the type of wood you need/want, but this will be 'green' lumber and it will need to be dried before you can use it. Either air dried at your place or sent out to be kiln dried.
