We currently press hard maple, soft maple, poplar, beech, gumwood, basswood, birch, and oak veneers but are capable of pressing any specie of veneer.
Our flat board thickness is sanded to within +.005/-.015 of your specifications - from the smallest size up to 50" wide by 96" long.
Burkel Inc. produces wood musical instrument components for pianos, harps and various percussion instruments - piano pin planks, drum sticks, harp bows, cello backs, drum shells, and musical blocks to name a few.
